Our Mission:

The Community Education Development Association (CED) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization dedicated to promoting the development of Maldivian communities through increasing the choices available to people to improve their livelihoods through education, health and income generation activities.

We are dedicated to:

• Improving education opportunities and assisting with the improvement of the education system in the best interests of the Maldivian youth
  
• Improving health care available to the Maldivianpopulation with a focus on island communities
  
• Developing income generation opportunities within island communities allowing them to diversify their local economies
  
• Though a new presence in the Republic of Maldives, CED will focus on having a lasting and significant effect on the nation. Our board includes individuals from all backgrounds including medicine, education, aviation, and a number of businesses.
  
  

We also have affiliate members and contributors with decades worth of experience in international development including a number of PhD holders in related fields.

Education Ministry, and United Nations Organizations
